Privacy Policy

MTG Codex does not collect, store on a server, sell or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking.

What stays on your device

Your collection, decks, recent searches, Table game state and settings are stored only on your iPhone or iPad. The developer cannot see them. Deleting the app removes them.

Camera

The scanner uses the camera only to read a card's name. Images are processed on your device and are never saved or sent anywhere. Only the recognised card name is used to search.

Network requests

To look up cards, the app sends your search text or card identifiers to the Scryfall API, and loads card images from Scryfall's image servers. Like any web request, this exposes your IP address to Scryfall under Scryfall's own privacy policy. The optional offline catalogue is downloaded from Scryfall. The developer does not receive these requests.

Children

The app collects no information from anyone, including children.
